Tewatohnhi’saktha, the Kahnawà:ke Economic Development Commission (KEDC), was established in 1999 by legislation of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke to create jobs, wealth, and self-sufficiency for the Mohawks of Kahnawà:ke. Tewatohnhi’saktha has a staff of thirty employees in four divisions within the organizations: Small Business Services Division; Employment and Training Division; Revenue Generation Division, and; Organizational Services Division.
Tewatohnhi’saktha Consulting is the consulting arm of the Revenue Generation Division. Our mission is to assist Aboriginal, or Aboriginal-related organizations, in the area of economic development and governance.
